First Ferrari 458 Speciale A Sold for $900k in Auction

Ferrari celebrated its 60th anniversary in the USA, and during the gala event placed at Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, was revealed the very special Ferrari F60 America, an open-top F12 Berlinetta-based limited in just 10 units and the first Ferrari 458 Speciale A was auctioned.

The Ferrari 458 Speciale A is basically a convertible version of the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The car is limited in just 499 units ( as the LaFerrari ) and the first of them was sold for $900k during the event. An astronomical price compared with the Ferrari 458 Speciale coupe ( with a base price of $330k), but, all proceeds from the sale will go to help Daybreak, a charity organization that aims to advance research towards a cure for rare genetic diseases.
