just to remember, the McLaren P1 was launched at 2012 Paris Motor Show ( the concept car ) to be the successor of the iconic McLaren F1. At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show the production car was unveiled as a limited series with 375 units worldwide. The $1.6 million McLaren P1 is powered by a V8 petrol engine delivering 727 bhp (542 kW) and 719 Nm (531 lb ft) of torque at 7500 rpm, combined with an in-house developed electric motor producing 176 bhp (131 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb ft). with both, the McLaren P1 has 903 bhp (916 PS) and 978 Nm (722 lb ft) of torque what makes possible the car accelerate from 0-62mph ( 0-100km/h ) in 2.8 seconds and reach 217 mph ( 350 km/h ) in its top speed ( electronically limited ).
The Porsche 918 Spyder was showed for the first time as a concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, as the Carrera GT’s successor, while the production version was unveiled 3 year later at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. As McLaren P1, the Porsche 918 Spyder merges a powerful petrol engine with electric motors to develop an impressive performance. Under the hood, a 4.6-liter V8 engine delivers 608 horsepower (453 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 528 N·m (389 lbf·ft) of maximum torque. This is supplemented by two electric motors delivering an additional 279 hp (208 kW). The Porsche 918 Spyder is limited in 918 units and has a base price of $845,000. The top speed is around 214 mph ( 345 km/h ).
