The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has just 30 units riding out there… 5 of that amount is called World Record Edition (WRE) and it was created in commemoration to the speed record broken in 2010 which crowned it as the fastest production car in the world. Among the other 25 units, we have some awesome one-off editions as the Merveilleux and this Le Saphir Bleu.
As others one-off editions of the Bugatti Veyron, the car presents a unique color scheme… The Bugatti Veyron SS Le Saphir Bleu is inspired on the L’Or blanc, but instead of a blue body with white paint, Le Saphir Bleu uses two tones of blue, that is sapphire blue and baby blue.
The Bugatti Veyron SS Le Saphir Bleu and all other SS-based editions has an 8.0-liter W16 engine delivering 1200hp with a sprint from 0-62 in just 2.5 seconds and, although the top speed is limited electronically to “just” 258 mph (415 km/h), the Bugatti Veyron SS Le Saphir bleu is able to reach 267 mph (431 km/h)… when unlocked, of course.
