BAC Mono Chases McLaren P1 on Track

Watch the single seater supercar BAC Mono chasing the hybrid-hypercar McLaren P1 at the Silverstone international GP track… until surpass!

The Mono built by Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is powered by a 2.3-litre four-cylinder Ford Duratec engine provided by Cosworth and produces 285 bhp (213 kW; 289 PS) and 206 lb-ft (279 Nm) of torque. Compared with 903 bhp (916 PS) produced by McLaren P1, the Mono power is insignificant, but their 285 horses combined with a curb-weight of just 540 kg (1,190 lb) is able to push it to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds and to a top speed of 170 mph (274 km/h).
