McLaren Special Operations (MSO) prepares another awesome special edition. A limited run based on 650S to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the historic victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Called of McLaren 650S Le Mans, the car is inspired by the famous No.59 F1 GTR that won at Le Mans in 1995 and features metallic Sarthe Grey exterior paint job and sits on unique ‘Le Mans Edition’ lightweight wheels. Furthermore, you will see in this special edition a roof-mounted engine induction ‘snorkel’, carbon fibre front splitter, rear bumper and Airbrake, plus MSO-developed extended side blades and rear diffuser. Inside, McLaren 650S Le Mans Limited Edition will be coated with leather and Alcantara featuring race inspired seats with Le Mans logos stitched into the headrests.
The McLaren 650S Le Mans Limited Edition has been developed in consultation with Peter Stevens, the man who styled the original McLaren F1, and deliveries is expected for begin from mid-2015.
About the price, each one of just 50 units that will be built (and all will be coupés) is priced at 244,500 pounds. In dollar is around 371,000 in current rates, while in Euro the price stands at 320,000.
