In a few days ahead, the 85th Geneva International Motor Show begins and we will see an enormous amount of new and awesome cars. Check it out now all the amazing cars that will be presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor show on March 5-15.
The International Geneva Motor Show (or Salon International de l’Auto in French) held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva –hosted at the Geneva Palexpo, a convention center located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport– is one of the most important and recognized auto show in the world. See the awesome cars that will steal the spotlight this year.
Koenigsegg announced early this month another mega car that will be revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show — just remembering, the One:1 mega car was released in Geneva last year.
The new Koenigsegg’s Mega car is going as a hybrid (probably, with an all new design) and even more powerful than the One:1, which boasts 1360 hp or 1 MegaWatt of power.
Regera means “to reign” in Swedish and it will come to reign as the king of the roads, as the fastest accelerating, the most powerful production car ever.
KOENIGSEGG AGERA RS
In addition to Regera, Koenigsegg is also taking to the show a new Agera-variation called RS. The Agera RS is built utilizing all advanced technology present in the One:1 while maintaining all the features and functionalities of previous S and R models.
Koenigsegg Agera RS will make its appearance at the Salon de l’Auto, probably, boasting a total power around 1200hp. The hypercar will be a focused on track, but totally road-legal.
LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SV
As usual in the Lamborghini’s history, all V12-variants receive the “SV” acronym when its production is walking to the end, besides of gain more power and aerodynamic improvement.
The Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce was spotted for the first time during a video shoot in late January. Earlier this month some data about the SV leaked, showing the six shades that Lamborghini will make available to the car.
The Aventador SV has a look similar to the 50th Anniversario Special Edition while the rear wing seems to be inspired by Aventador J. At this moment, we don’t know anything about performance, some reports say that the SV may be an LP800.
BUGATTI VEYRON VITESSE LA FINALE
La Finale is another special edition based on Bugatti Veyron Vitesse — if you are tired to see special editions based on Vitesse, don’t worry, this is the last.
La Finale is coming to this Geneva Motor Show with a special color scheme matching dark red carbon fiber and gloss black while beneath the skin the Vitesse remains the same — 8.0-liter W16 engine with 1200 hp.
2016 AUDI R8
Audi is taking to Geneva the second generation of its R8 sports car. Revealed yesterday, the brand new Audi R8 share the same platform with Lamborghini Huracan and — as the raging bull — is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine delivering 610hp in its most powerful form (V10-plus), while the base form has 540 horsepower.
ASTON MARTIN VULCAN
Aston Martin Vulcan is a track-focused and most potent Aston Martin’s model ever built. Revealed some days ago, Vulcan is a track-only limited edition with a total output of 800hp thanks to a 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine developed in conjunction with Aston Martin Racing.
ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE GT3
Besides the track-only limited edition Vulcan, Aston Martin has another track-inspired and very limited model to show us in Geneva… The Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
Revealed a few days ago, Aston Martin Vantage GT3 comes with an aggressive design and as a limited edition. It is equipped with an upgraded 6.0-liter V12 engine able to deliver a bit more power… Vantage GT3 delivers up to 600 PS or 592 bhp and thanks to the weight reduction it lost 100 kg (220lbs) in comparison to the V12 Vantage S, which boasts 1665kg (3671lbs) of curb weight.
MERCEDES AMG GT3
The Mercedes-AMG GT3 has been developed to comply with the FIA’s GT3 race rules and will be shipped to the first customer teams at the end of 2015.
The road-going Mercedes AMG GT suffered significant changes to become this awesome GT3 race car. Less weight and more power, Mercedes AMG GT as a structure built in very lightweight yet extremely rigid aluminum space frame as well as several parts in carbon fiber. While under the hood, pulses a new 6.3-liter V8 engine derived from the SLS AMG GT3.
Danish automaker, Zenvo, has not given details about the ST1 copies that are going to Geneva. Zenvo is taking 2 units of its monster to Geneva featuring the latest developments in the areas of performance, design, handling, comfort and safety.
Spanish automaker, Spania GTA, is also taking its awesome GTA Spano hypercar to the 85th Geneva International Motor Show.
GTA Spano has suffered changes around its body, so far, shown through teaser images, while an improved heart pulses under the hood, an 8.0-liter V10 engine developing 925 horsepower and 1220 Nm (900 lb-ft) of top torque. The new top speed stands at 370 km/h ( 230 mph).
… the GTA Spano can pop up in Geneva with graphene in its composition, besides of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and titanium.
McLAREN P1 GTR
The McLaren P1 GTR was showed for the first time at the Monterey Car Week in August last year as a concept… In this Geneva Salon, McLaren will present us the production form of its track-focused hybrid hypercar wearing a yellow and green livery inspired by McLaren F1 GTR #06R.
In addition to all improvements in the body, the track-focused McLaren P1 GTR has an increase of 83 hp in comparison with the road going model, this one boasts a total of 1000PS ( 986 bhp ) from the motorsport-optimised 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine and lightweight electric motor.
Alongside McLaren P1 GTR, McLaren will also present to the public its brand new McLaren 675LT inspired by McLaren F1 GTR “Longtail”, which dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995.
The McLaren 675LT boasts a dry weight of just 1230kg (2711lbs), while, under the hood we find an optimized 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a power output of 675hp (666bhp) and maximum torque of 700Nm (516 lb ft). The zero to 62 mph sprint is reached in 2.9 seconds and the top speed stands at 205mph (330kph).
FERRARI 488 GTB
With a few modifications on its design — compared with the previous model — and with a new 3.9-liter twin turbocharged V8 engine able to deliver 670 hp (492 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque, the brand new prancing horse will, too, make an appearance at the 85th Geneva Show.
