Aston Martin introduces at this Geneva Motor Show its road-going track-focused supercar based on V12 Vantage… The Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
Aston Martin will make available just 100 pieces of its Vantage GT3, an aggressive supercar inspired by track but with the usual elegance of an Aston Martin.
Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is equipped with an optimized 6.0-liter V12 engine with a total power of 600 PS or 592 bhp. Moreover, the car is 100 kg (220lbs) lighter than the V12 Vantage S — which boasts 1665kg (3671lbs) — thanks to the meticulous use of carbon fiber.
GT3-styling gives the new Aston Martin much more than just an aggressive look. Vantage GT3 is lower and wider than any other Vantage out there and it was equipped with a huge rear spoiler… The aggressive body also helps in performance on track increasing downforce and enhancing handling on track.
The reworked interior shows off a full carbon fibre centre stack and touch-sensitive control array, as well as race-derived carbon fibre sports seats, Alcantara trim and more… besides of the option of numerous bespoke features by Q (Aston Martin’s bespoke personalization program).
Aston Martin will deliver the first copies of the Vantage GT3 during the third quarter of 2015.
