After Detroit and Chicago Motor Show, the new Ford GT presents its futuristic design at the Salon International de l’Auto 2015.
Replacing the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 modular engine present in the 2005-2006 model, the new Ford GT is powered by a 3.5-liter twin turbocharged ecoboost V6 able to produce over 600 horsepower. It uses a carbon fiber monocoque with aluminium front and rear subframes.
Although Ford has not revealed any figure about the performance of its machine, the American manufacturer has disclosed pricing and production info at this Geneva Motor Show.
Ford has officially confirmed that the Ford GT will come as a limited series with 250 units per year at a retail price of $400,000 each one. The total will not exceed thousand units which means four years of production at most.
