German hybrid, Porsche 918 Spyder, faces a pretty awesome Japanese machine, Lexus LFA, in a drag race at Vmax 200 Nine Eleven, hosted by Auto Vivendi at Dunsfold Park.

PORSCHE 918 SPYDER
As you well know, the Porsche 918 Spyder is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine which develops 608 horsepower (453 kW) and is supported by two electric motors generating together 279 hp (208 kW). With a total of 887 hp (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque, the German hybrid hypercar takes just 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph), 7.2 seconds to reach 200 km/h (120 mph) and in 19.9 seconds it can reach 300 kilometres per hour (190 mph). The Porsche 918 Spyder top speed figures at 340 km/h (210 mph).
The Lexus LFA is powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine equipped with dual VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence) producing a total power of 560 horsepower (412 kW) at 8,700 rpm and max torque of 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) at 6,800 rpm. Lexus LFA performance figures of 0-97 km/h (60 mph) in 3.6 seconds, 0-201 km/h (125 mph) in 7.6 seconds and top speed around 325 km/h (202 mph).
