Porsche Carrera GT is an awesome machine, of course, with a stunning design and a V10 engine delivering 612 hp (456 kW) under the hood it couldn’t be otherwise. But, in the video below the Porsche 918 Spyder shows how superior it is.
Of course, the Porsche 918 Spyder is the successor of Carrera GT and is superior in all aspects. Talking about power, while the Carrera GT uses a 5.7-liter V10 engine able to deliver 612 hp as I said above, the Porsche 918 Spyder boasts a 4.6-liter V8 engine with 608 horsepower with an additional of 279 hp coming from electric motors for a total of 887 horsepower.
Thanks to the enormous power and the electric powertrain, Porsche 918 Spyder takes just 2.5 seconds to hit 62 mph and hit 210 mph at its top speed (it has already achieved 217 mph).
We all know the winner, but, of course, it’s always awesome see two beasts head-to-head in a drag race.
