Watch the amazing Koenigsegg Regera hybrid megacar making an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2015.
In fact, the Koenigsegg’s beast was spotted leaving the event moments before being uploaded in the trailer, but we are able to see and hear the V8 twin-turbo roar. Unfortunately, Koenigsegg Regera was just displayed at the show and we cannot see it running on Goodwood hill.
In addition to hear the massive V8 roar when it starts up, we can also see the Regera running with its electric mode on.. yeah, no noise.
Koenigsegg Regera had its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2015, three months ago, where it was presented as the second mega car in the world — the One:1 was the very first — boasting a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine and an electric motor, which together generate over 1500 horsepower. Unlike all hybrid hypercars — or supercars — out there, all this power is taken to the ground through a single-speed fixed gear.
The Regera is a limited production run handcrafted in only 80 examples.
