Porsche 911 GT3 RS Accelerates at Goodwood Festival

Porsche has taken its brand new Porsche 911 GT3 RS to Goodwood Festival of Speed this year and no one better than Andreas Preuninger, Porsche’s Manager High Performance Cars, to jump behind the wheel of this German beast and hit the Goodwood track.

Launched at the Geneva International Motor Show 2015, the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS comes with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine developing 500 hp and 338 lb-ft of torque and thanks to a specially developed PDK transmission all this power push the 911 GT3 RS from zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, while takes 11.2 seconds to complete a quarter mile.
