A couple of days ago, a Blu Glauco Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster shook the internet as the brand new Lamborghini’s open top Superveloce, but, unfortunately, those pictures were fake.
Now, new pictures of the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster emerge and these are not renders. These pictures, coming from some users of Instagram (austrian_exoticcars and felixs2706), reveal the SV Roadster test mule outside the Lamborghini factory, where it was spotted.
Without the rear wing and boasting a dark blue paint job, the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster is virtually the same coupé but, of course, with a removable roof.
Talking about the roof, Lamborghini is using that same mechanism used on the Aventador Roadster while the engine cover is in carbon fiber instead of the transparent glass.
Under the roof, probably, the same amount of power of the Aventador SV coupé is taking the Aventador SV Roadster to a top speed of over 217 mph (350 km/h) and to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds (or, maybe, 2.9… 0.1 seconds slower than the coupé as the standard Aventador Roadster).
The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster (this is a huge name, isn’t it?) will be presented to the world (probably) at the next Frankfurt Motor Show and, rumors say, it is coming in a limited run of only 500 copies — 100 less than the coupé.
