If you were the son of a millionaire and wanted to upgrade your Ferrari 458, what would you do?
Well, the 20-year-old son of a Swiss millionaire attempting to get a brand new car just set fire to his $245,000 Ferrari 458 Italia.
The Ferrari was one in 15, which the 20-year-old’s millionaire father had bought for him.
The guy had also been given a property portfolio worth around $30 million and received around up to $10,000 a month from his father.
According to the 20-year-old, he was advised by a car dealer to commit insurance fraud. Without thinking twice, he plus three friends hatched a plan to burn his car, but to cover his tracks decided to do so over the border in southern Germany.
He paid around $15,000 for his three friends to commit the crime, while he visited a massage parlor.
Unfortunately for him, security cameras pointed who had set fire on the prancing horse and ended up with his plans.
On curt, he said his funds had run dry by the time of the incident and was not brave enough to tell his father he did not like the Ferrari.
He was sentenced to 22 months probation and fined $32,000.
