Ferrari Dino Test Mule Spied?

A Ferrari 458 Italia with a side air intake similar to that of the brand new Ferrari 488 GTB/Spider was spotted testing.

Of course, this is a test mule but, which the new Ferrari’s supercar is coming?

Well, according to the guy with the camera who took these photos, this Ferrari 458 Italia is using neither its 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine nor a 4.9-liter twin-turbo V8 from 488 GTB.

According to Motor Trend, they suppose this is a test mule for the rumored Ferrari Dino confirmed by the Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne a couple of months ago.

Yeah, Ferrari is going to create a modest supercar “cheaper” than its $200k Ferrari California T boasting a V6 twin-turbo with something around 500 horsepower to compete with McLaren’s Sports Series.

If this is the test mule for a Ferrari Dino indeed we will see prototypes testing with the real body on the road in about 15 months or earlier.
