As happened with the 458 series, Ferrari is making a more extreme version of its front-mid-engined F12 Berlinetta.
Two days ago, WorldSupercars spotted this new beast highly camouflaged testing around Maranello, Italy and we are able to hear loud and clear its V12 in action.
The new Ferrari is being called F12 Versione Speciale (or just VS) and probably will boast the same 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine of LaFerrari able to deliver the amazing amount of 800 horsepower (789 bhp) and a total torque of 700 Nm (516 lb.ft). With all those horses, the car certainly will reach a top speed of at least 217 mph (350 km/h) and achieve 62 mph (100 km/h) in or less than 3 seconds.
Of course, in addition to the power boost, the Ferrari F12 VS will also have a “facelifted” body in order to increase aerodynamics and, consequently, performance… Oh, and we can’t forget about the weight reduction.
