Four years from its official launch, McLaren Special Operations is going to the USA’s famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance later this month with a bunch of stunning creations.
Actually, MSO will showcase two projects based on McLaren 570S. The fist one, McLaren 570S coupé, features the uniquely formulated Mauvine Blue paint finish coupled with a bespoke interior finished in Carbon Black leather with co-ordinating detailing. A second 570S, also Coupé, is finished in Ventura Orange and has a selection of styling details from the MSO Defined range of options.
In addition to these two 570S “by MSO” models, Mclaren will also bring other two limited editions to be displayed at Pebble Beach.
They are: the coupé-only McLaren 675LT — the lightest and most track-focused, yet road legal, model in the Super Series — limited in 500 units and equipped with a V8 twin-turbo developing 675 hp… and the very exclusive 650S LeMans — limited in 50 units (all sold) — created by MSO inspired by the McLaren F1 GTR chassis #01R to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the legendary victory at the famous French endurance race.
And finally, on loan from BMW North America who sponsored the car during its debut season, a 1996 McLaren F1 GTR chassis #17R will be displayed during the weekend.
Apart from these cars on display, McLaren will also be represented at the RM Auctions sale taking place during the Concours d’Elegance proceedings. You will be able to add a Volcano Red McLaren P1 and the penultimate McLaren F1 (1998 McLaren F1, chassis #073) to your collection.
