We have been speculating about the design of the Veyron successor since 2014 when the first Chiron test mule emerged, but just with the release of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this month something about the Chiron design was showed to us.
According to Bugatti, the Vision GT Concept is a car created for the fans and boasts the new design language of the brand… so, the new Chiron will look like with it.
The picture above is the newest rendering which attempts to show how the Bugatti Chiron will be and according to those people who have already seen the car, it is extremely accurate.
It seems that the Bugatti Chiron will be a road-legal Vision GT without that insane center fin and gigantic rear wing.
On the other hand, the Chiron will be a very insane Veyron in all aspects: the insane design coming from a track-oriented concept will make the Chiron more enjoyable and with better performance than its predecessor on tracks, while the 1500 ponies generated by the good old 8.0L quad-turbocharged W16 engine with some electrical help will push it to a top speed of 288 mph (463 km/h) and 0-62 sprint in less than 2.5 seconds.
Bugatti will make the new Chiron more responsive, better handling and, of course, lighter than the 1888 kg (4,162 lb) Veyron.
