During the SCC500 Deutsche Meisterschaft Rolling50 1000, Gumball has filmed these two amazing supercars side to side on a 1000m closed airfield for a clash.
Check it out the Lamborghini Aventador vs Ferrari F12 Berlinetta right below.
The Lamborghini Aventador you just see on the video above is a stock copy, so it is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine pumping out 700 horsepower to a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h) while it performs a sprint from 0-62 in just 2.9 seconds.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, also stock, is powered by a 6.3L naturally-aspirated V12 engine delivering an amount of 740 ponies to its rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch automated semi-automatic gearbox. According to official numbers, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta hits a top speed of 227 mph (365 km/h) and a 0-62 sprint in 3.1 seconds.
Although the Aventador seems to be better than the Ferrari F12 looking at the numbers (at least, looking at the 0-62 sprint), this V12-engined prancing horse is lighter (50 kg/110 lbs), more powerful (40 hp) and faster than the raging bull — but, in this distance (1 km/0.62 m), top speed really don’t matter.
During the race, the Lamborghini Aventador achieved 263.71 km/h (163.86 mph) and the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta 266.67 km/h (165.70 mph).
