During the Dubai International Motor Show, in addition to the brand new Fenyr SuperSport, a new addition to the Dubai police fleet has also been presented to fight crime… a Porsche 918 Spyder.
Dubai has the most awesome police fleet in this world — a jaw-dropping supercar collection — with some very limited pieces as the Aston Martin One-77, some gorgeous machines as the Lamborghini Aventador and one of the fastest cars in the world — yeah, the Bugatti Veyron.
Apart from these cars mentioned above, Dubai has a lot of other insane beasts riding through its roads and streets wearing the white and green police livery and now a hybrid hypercar joins to the crew – by the way, the very first police fleet to boast a hybrid hypercar.
Just remembering, the Porsche 918 Spyder is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine pumping out 608 horsepower and two electric motors producing an additional 279 hp. With a total output of 887 hp and 1280 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque, the Porsche 918 Spyder is capable of reaching a top speed of 210 mph (340 km/h) and to accelerate from 0-62mph in only 2.5 seconds.
When Dubai presents a new car to its police fleet only one question come to my mind, which will be the next one? What do you think?
