Arash Motor Company Ltd., a British company, founded in 1999, prepared something awesome for this Geneva Motor Show, a supercar with nothing less than 2080 horsepower.
Called Arash AF10, the car is powered by a combustion engine, a GM-sourced V8 supercharged, which produces 900bhp and 1200Nm of torque. The rest of the amount (1180hp) comes from 4 electric motors manufactured for Arash by Compact Dynamics Germany producing 295 bhp each one.
A 32 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is charged automatically by the V8 engine or when the car breaks by the recovery system, supports the electric motors
Each motor has its gearbox with two speeds while the petrol engine has a 6-speed gearbox available as manual or automatic.
The chassis is carbon reinforced patented 13 piece construction in T1000 carbon fibres and Aramids with aluminium subframes at the front and rear.
Double wishbone with hydraulic lift system, adjustable dampers, 19 x 9 and 20 x 12 wheels, front and rear respectively, wrapped by Michelin Pilot Sport 2 are also part of the package which has a price of £1,100,000 or $1.56 million at current rates.
Arash’s AF10 Hybrid can accelerate from 0-60 (0-96 km/h) in less than 3 seconds while it can achieve a top speed of over 201 mph with the combustion engine. So far, we don’t know the top speed with the combined power. Also, it accelerates from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds and speed up to over 200 mph (322 km/h) at top speed using its electric mode only.
By the fact of a herd of 2080 horses push the Arash AF10 Hybrid I was hoping much more of this Enzo-like machine (it looks like Enzo, doesn’t it?) but let’s wait for the Geneva Motor Show to check out all details of the Arash AF10 hybrid and what it really can do.
