McLaren brings us some pictures of the facility recently built to house the track-focused McLaren P1 GTRs.
Located in Woking, England, close to the McLaren Special Operations and the McLaren GT race team, the McLaren P1 GTR workshop is solely for the track-only McLaren (of course) with technicians and engineers preparing each car for the bespoke events offered by McLaren for the owners of these machines… yeah, the McLaren P1 GTR Drive Programme.
The McLaren P1 GTR Drive Programme aids the customers since the choose of the livery until they hit the tracks for the driving events giving them all the supports (including training) to experience the best of the 1000PS McLaren P1 GTR on a race weekend.
Back to the P1 GTRs, in the picture above are twelve of them, ones well-known by us such as the prototype using the yellow and green livery while some others are new (the most of them) as the white one with a red-and-white flag at the centre inspired by a McLaren F1 GTR.
The McLaren P1 GTR is already sold out and is expected to be built only 40 examples of this beast.
The track-focused hybrid hypercar McLaren P1 GTR uses a 3.8-liter twin turbo V8 engine supported by an electric motor which together produce 1000PS (986bhp).
