At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin has presented its newest DB model. The DB11.
The new Aston Martin DB11 boasts a completely reworked chassis, suspension, steering and electronics.
The new bonded aluminium body structure combines lightness and strength and provides more space.
The door apertures are larger than previous DB models. The interior is roomier giving 10mm of extra headroom for the front seat occupants and a 54 mm increase in headroom and 87 mm more legroom for the rear seat ones.
The characteristic radiator grille has been reinterpreted while the innovative aero blades positioned behind the headlights and front wheels are new and elegant elements in the design which enhance stability by harnessing airflow.
The new twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine pumps 600 bhp out and produces 700 NM of torque making the DB11 the most powerful DB production model in Aston Martin’s history.
The power is transferred to the ground via an eight-speed automatic gearbox and also, three driving modes are available for the driver. GT for exemplary ride quality, Sport for added firmness and agility while Sport Plus makes the suspension, steering, 8-speed automatic transmission and Torque Vectoring system work in unison to truly awaken the sports car within.
62mph can be achieved in 3.9 seconds and if it continues accelerating it can reach 200 mph at the top speed.
The interior offers climate control and infotainment technology. A 12-inch TFT LCD display is dedicated to the vehicle information and a second eight-inch screen is reserved to the infotainment.
Aston Martin offers an inspiring palette of colours and a vast array of detailing option for the owner to create an interior with his style.
Aston Martin DB11 has a starting price of £154,900 in the UK, $211,995 in the US and €204,900 in Germany. The first vehiches are expected to be delivered toward the end of 2016.
