2017 Audi R8 Will Star in the Final Fantasy XV Movie

When we talk about the Audi R8 in movies the first one which probably comes to mind is the Iron Man or the Avengers (I don’t know why but that scene from Furious 7 is fresh in my mind too). Yeah, the R8 is the ride of the Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist Tony Stark in both franchises mentioned above, but here’s another movie that the R8 will star. The Final Fantasy XV Movie.

If you do not know anything about the Final Fantasy universe I recommend you explore by yourself because there are a lot of things to know about this great video game franchise. As you’ve noticed, this is the fifteenth sequence of the game first published in 1987.

The Final Fantasy XV (the game) will be released this year and in order to promote the game, Square Enix (the developer) decided to release an anime series called “Brotherhood – Final Fantasy XV” and a CGI movie “Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV”, which you can watch the trailer featuring the R8 below.

This isn’t the first CGI movie produced by Square Enix involving the franchise. The seventh game of the series (Final Fantasy VII, obvious) also gained a movie released in September 2005 and I fully recommend. By the way, a remake version of the game will be released,  I don’t know when but it will.

As stated in the title, the car presented in the movie is the V10-powered 2017 Audi R8 but fitted with metal engraving where we’re used to seeing clear carbon fiber.

In the 2005 movie “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children” there were some awesome chase scenes, I hope to see the R8 in some scenes like that before being split in half by some huge sword or being destroyed by some colossal creature.
