Hennessey has released a teaser video with the new achievement of its Venom GT. It went faster than before.
This new version of the Hennessey Venom GT that broke the previous record, 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h) in 2014, is an updated Venom GT with 1451bhp announced at the last year’s SEMA. The improved 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has 207bhp more the previous car and increased boost from 19psi to 26psi.
As the previous record, the guys at Hennessey have taken the Venom GT (Spyder) to the 2.8-mile runway at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
Hennessey said that it will produce a handful of Venom GTs in 2016 as focus turns to its new car, the Venom F5.
