Less one hybrid hypercar on the roads of China.
A gray McLaren P1 has crashed in China, more specifically on a highway near Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province.
The accident happened late evening on April 19 and caused several severe damages around the body of the hybrid hypercar. The most damaged parts are, for sure, the rear-right (the wheel was ripped out) and the front-left which ended up in pieces.
The reasons of why the McLaren P1 is in this lamentable state is unclear. Another vehicle was also involved. A China-made Buick LaCrosse which was rear-ended by the P1.
Supposedly, the McLaren P1 hit the Buick first and hit the road barrier what caused the severe damage to the rear-right.
As you can see the hypercar is with the wing up –what means it is in its Race Mode that is illegal on roads– and you can see what likely is the initials of the owner; Lhe.
No one got seriously injured in the accident.
