Watch the Koenigsegg Agera RS hitting 284 mph

You already know that there’s a new fastest car in the world, right? and this incredible machine is a 1360 hp Koenigsegg Agera RS.

I have already posted here the official numbers of the record and now you can watch the onboard footage of the Koenigsegg Agera RS hitting the top speed of 284 mph (457 km/h).

The Angelholm mega car has entered the history books hitting an average top speed of 277.9 mph (447.2 km/h). As you know, to be considered the world’s fastest production car by Guinness, the car needs to run in two directions (one opposite to the other) and the average speed is computed as the official. The Koenigsegg Agera RS managed to hit a top speed of 271.2 mph (436.4 km/h) in one direction and 284.6 mph (458 km/h) in the other.

Well, it became!!!

The official video from Koenigsegg about the feat they managed to achieve in a closed section of a Nevada highway yesterday is not out yet — The Koenigsegg Agera RS is the new fastest car in the world –. But, I bring to you two videos of some guys that were at the site when Koenigsegg was attempting to break the record.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS broke the World record for the Fastest Production Car held by the Bugatti Veyron SS — with an average top speed of 267.9 mph (431.1 km/h) — running in two directions with an average top speed of 277.9 mph (447.2 km/h) — 271.2 mph (436.4 km/h) in one way and 284.6 mph (458 km/h) in the other. Oh, it also managed to go faster than the 270 mph of the Hennessey Venom GT.

Koenigsegg also took advantage of the moment to officialize the 0-400kph-0 record and accelerated from zero to 400 km/h (248 mph) and back to zero in just 33.87 seconds.

Bugatti Chiron sets world record for 0-400-0 km/h

Postado por Edhywann em 11/Sep/2017 -

Bugatti has revealed that its insane W16-powered beast set the world record for acceleration from a standstill to 400 km/h (246 mph) and braking to a standstill.

The record was supervised and officially certified by SGS-TÜV Saar and teased by Bugatti on its Facebook page where you can watch the Bugatti Chiron accelerating to 400 km/h.

About the time, the Bugatti Chiron was able to accelerate from zero to four hundred kilometers per hour in only 32.6 seconds and just 2,621 meters. While to accelerate from zero to 400 and braking to zero it took 41.96 seconds and covered 3,112 meters.

Invited by Bugatti, behind the wheel and stepping deep on the gas was the former Formula 1 driver, who is now active in the IndyCar series, Juan Pablo Montoya.

Probably Bugatti will release a video will the full record soon, but while this doesn’t happen, down below you find a gallery with a “special edition” of the car.

UGR Lamborghini Huracan Hit 250 mph in 1/2 Mile

Postado por Edhywann em 25/May/2017 -

That’s a world record!

UGR, which stands for Underground Racing, a performance tuning house based on North Caroline, has made some pretty fast supercars to go even faster (and very quick). Here a Lamborghini Huracan to prove that.

With a twin turbo kit installed, this Lamborghini Huracan managed to reach 250 mph (For you saying f*ck imperial system, this is 402 km/h) in just half-mile during the @wannaGOFAST 1/2 mile event at New London airstrip in North Carolina (a new world record).

Unfortunately, the description of the video doesn’t say how many horses the Lamborghini boasts but I’m pretty that the baby bull boasts the X Version Twin Turbo System w/ Highly Modified Engine which translated to horsepower means 1200 whp on pump gas and over 2200 whp with race fuel.

Awesome Carbon Red Bugatti Chiron Spotted in Monaco

Postado por Edhywann em 24/May/2017 -

A stunning copy of the Bugatti Chiron has been spotted driving on the streets of Monaco.

The successor of the iconic Veyron has been seen in Monaco, a very eye-catching carbon red one. The French monster pushed by 1500 horsepower boasts… well, that’s not much to talk about the specs of the car, there’s carbon fiber everywhere and it’s tinted of red, but damn it’s awesome, isn’t it?

With more and more Chiron’s coming out the assembly line, more and more copies like this will come out as well. And we’re here waiting for them.

Chris Harris Has a Lot of Fun in the Bugatti Chiron

Postado por Edhywann em 17/Mar/2017 -

As you know, Chris Harris is one of the members of the new Top Gear team and in this season of the show, Chris will review no other than the almighty 1500hp Chiron.

The short video below (from Instagram) shows Chris Harris having a lot of fun accelerating the Bugatti Chiron at an airfield in Dubai. He can’t hide the smile of accelerating the mega car and how fast it goes up to 250 km/h (150 mph).

I’m sure they won’t reveal the top speed of the Chiron even because they aren’t at Ehra Lessien for this but it’s gonna be a very entertaining review, isn’t it?
