Onboard the New Lamborghini Huracan Performante

Watch the new Lamborghini Huracan Performante accelerating on Imola’s track

Lamborghini will present a more aggressive version of the baby bull said to be the fastest car ever built in Sant’Agata Bolognese and here you can watch this aggressive machine, the Huracan “Performante”, going fast around the track in Imola.

Yeah, it seems that the Huracan won’t follow its predecessor (Gallardo) when we talk about nomenclature (Or people forget about that). As you know, the extreme Gallardo is called Superleggera while Performante is the top-down version of it. Let’s wait till Geneva (probably earlier) to know the official name and all the attributes of the new Huracan.

Liberty Walk McLaren 650S Inspired by…

Yeah, this is another supercar that gets the Japanese widebody kit.

When McLaren presented to the world the successor of the 12C everybody complained that the car design was just a combination of both the 12C and the insane P1. Yeah, this is not a lie, but although the design is not unique, McLaren showed how awesome its supercar is.

Now the Japanese tuner, LB Performance, adds another Woking’s machine to that combination to form the Liberty Walk McLaren 650S. You know I’m talking about the track-focused McLaren P1 GTR.

As usual, the Liberty Walk widebody kit is formed by those wide fenders (the key point of the kit) as well as a large front splitter, side skirts, a new rear diffuser, and a big rear wing clearly inspired by the P1 GTR, mainly those pylons.

Another thing that is clearly inspired by the P1 GTR/P1 is the hood which gained a pair of ducts.

The yellow livery with a set of green stripes crossing the center of the car is another reference to the P1 GTR. The McLaren P1 GTR debuted at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show using this yellow and green livery (based on the McLaren F1 GTR #06R).

Besides the widebody kit and the yellow and green livery, the Liberty Walk McLaren 650S yet receives a new suspension system by AirREX, a new set of wheels by Forgiato, and a new exhaust system by Fi Exhaust (you can hear it below).

The Liberty Walk McLaren 650S is not equipped with any performance kit. Yeah, the exhaust system probably helps to generate some additional ponies, but although the P1 GTR is the source of inspiration to this machine, the output of the car is not even close to the 1000hp track-only beast.

Here’s the Story Behind the McLaren F1’s Record-Breaking Top Speed

Postado por Edhywann em 04/Feb/2017 -

The fastest production car of the 20th century.

Nowadays when we talk about top speed a car that likely comes to your mind is the Bugatti Veyron SS (the world’s fastest production car today) or maybe (for obvious reasons) the Venom GT. But, before these insane hypercars come to the world pumping out thousands of ponies, back in 1998 a car made history reaching a top speed of 243 mph (391 km/h) at Ehra-Lessien.

Yeah, the car was the McLaren F1, and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the car McLaren released a video with Andy Wallace, the man behind the wheel the F1 on that day, talking the story behind the record-breaking 240.1mph top speed (combined top speed).

Oh, just in case you want to know, the McLaren F1 is powered by a 6.1-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine able to produce 636 hp and 651 Nm of torque. Weighing just 1138 kg (2508 lbs), the F1 can accelerate from 0-62 (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds, 0-124 (0-200 km/h) in 9.4s and 0-186 (0-300 km/h) in 23.8s.

Christian von Koenigsegg explains the technology behind the 1500hp Regera

Watch the first part of a series of videos by Drive featuring the newest Koenigsegg’s mega car and presented by the man behind the machine.

The Koenigsegg Regera was first presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show (when this footage was recorded). The Regera is powered by three electric motors and the good old 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing together the awesome amount of 1500 hp and 2000 NM of torque. All this power hit the ground through the KDD (Koenigsegg direct drive) which removes the need for shifting gears.

Tesla Model S P100D Races Lamborghini Huracan

Postado por Edhywann em 21/Sep/2016 -

Check out the new Tesla Model S P100D facing a Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 on a straight line.

The Lamborghini Huracan, as you know, comes with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine delivering 610 horsepower to all wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. This Italian bull can accelerate from zero to 62 in 3.2 seconds and hit over 201 mph (325 km/h) at its top speed.

In turn, the Tesla Model S P100D is an all-electric sedan with four doors, seats up to 5 adults plus 2 children and has exceptional cargo capacity. Furthermore, the Tesla says the P100D is the quickest production car in the world with a 0-60 acceleration of just 2.5 seconds. Yeah, actually, there are some other cars able to do this as the Porsche 918  and Bugatti Veyron and some that might be quicker as the Chiron, but it is awesome anyway.

Press play and check out the Tesla Model S P100D vs Lamborghini Huracan.

Check out the RWD Lamborghini Huracan by Novitec Torado

Postado por Edhywann em 20/Sep/2016 -

A beautiful 830-hp Raging Bull.

After showing us the treatment for the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, the specialist in Lambos, Novitec Torado, presents us the tuning package for the RWD Lamborghini Huracan.

Lamborghini thinks their customers can’t handle a rear-wheel-drive Lambo with 610 ponies, so they released the RWD Huracan with 30-hp less than the other variations. But if you think you can, Novitec Torado brings those 30 ponies back (with the other 200 of bonus) with a 5.0L V10 supercharged engine.

With those new 230 horses,  the RWD Lamborghini Huracan by Novitec Torado will produce much more noise. Yeah, it will but not just because of those horses but also thanks to a new exhaust system made of Inconel.

Apart from the engine and exhaust, Novitec Torado has created some aerodynamic parts for the Huracan LP580-2 (LP830-2 now). The aerodynamic kit created in lightweight carbon fiber and tested in wind tunnel features a new front lip, trunk lid, side panels, and rear diffuser (actually, a complete rear bumper) as well as some parts borrowed from the Novitec Torado Huracan N-Largo such as the engine bonnet and rear wing.

The RWD Lamborghini Huracan by Novitec Torado yet gets a new suspension system leaving the car 35-mm lower and it rides in a new pair of  20- and 21-inch shoes.

If you want to know how the supercharged V10 engine (improved by the new exhaust system) sounds, you can check out the video right below.

Pagani Huayra Futura: Another Awesome 1 Of 1 God of Wind

Postado por Edhywann em 09/Sep/2016 -

Pagani is well known for the very exclusive and amazing pieces of art produced at its factory in San Cesario Sul Panaro. Although, there’s just a selected group of people in the world able to afford a beast by Pagani (yeah, those very very rich), most of them yet prefer to make their beasts even more unique… those One-offs.

Apart from those Zonda 760s, the Huayra collects a couple of one-off editions, and here’s the newest one called Futura.

The Pagani Huayra Futura has some characteristics that you won’t see in another Huayra and it’s not just a unique color scheme. Actually, the Huayra Futura parades with exposed blue-tinted carbon fiber and some black accents.

2 pagani huayra futura one off edition rear side view doors up 800x450

Furthermore, the car yet features a new and larger front lip, air intakes over the engine bay, a new set of wheels, and a pair of wings just like the Pagani Huayra Pearl but this one is smaller and fixed on the active rear flaps. Thanks to the Pacchetto Tempesta and a brand new titanium exhaust, this Huayra is louder than ever.

The interior of the car (besides a large amount of carbon fiber) is finished in blue to match the exterior.

The Pagani Huayra Futura was caught on camera at the 2016 Lakes GT supercar rally and you can see more of the car in the video below by Marchettino.

Chameleon McLaren P1 MK Edition Looks Sick!

Postado por Edhywann em 08/Sep/2016 -

You might have seen a couple of chameleon cars changing their colors out there (or not), but here’s a very special one. First of all, it is a f***ing McLaren P1 and it is the world’s first chameleon paint carbon fiber.

If you are wondering about who made this, well, the answer is quite obvious. This chameleon McLaren P1 MK Edition came to the world thanks to the hands of McLaren Special Operations, yeah, the McLaren’s division which makes sick things even sicker. And, oh, MK are the initials of the owner, Manny Khoshbin.

Check out the video as well as some pictures below for more of the World’s first Chameleon Carbon Fiber McLaren P1 .  And, let us know your thoughts on this car. Sick or not?
