Here it is: the Bugatti Centodieci

After being leaked online, the brand new Bugatti Centodieci has been officially unveiled to the world on The Quail at this Monterey Car Week.

The Bugatti Centodieci is a tribute to the Bugatti EB110 (Centodiece is 110 in Italian), one of several amazing chapters in the rich Bugatti’s history. It is based on the Chiron and comes limited to only 10 units.

You can see in its design a lot of things that remember the classic EB110. Bugatti designers merged the classic look of the EB110 with the Chiron and this insane beast was the result.

Comparing with the Chiron, the horseshoe grille has been shrunken, the headlights are now very thin giving the Centodieci a very aggressive look. It has gained air intakes behind the windows (round-shaped to remind those in the EB110). The rear-end features a big fixed rear wing as well as a very aggressive diffuser.

As mentioned earlier, it is based on the Chiron, so it comes with a W16-engine quad-turbocharged with 8.0-liter of displacement with some updates to put out nothing less than 1600 horsepower.

In addition to the power gain, the Bugatti Centodieci is a bit lighter (20 kg) and generates over 90 kilograms of additional downforce compared to the Chiron.

With the extra power, the Centodieci accelerates from inertia to 100km/h in 2.4 seconds, to 200km/h in 6.1 and it takes only 13.1 to accelerates from zero to 300km/h. Although this beast can exceed 400 km/h easily, it has its top speed limited to 380km/h.
